1. Selection of rigging specifications and types When selecting rigging specifications, the size, weight, shape of the load to be lifted, as well as the service mode coefficient jointly affected by the lifting method to be used must be included in the calculation, and the requirements for the ultimate working force given must be considered. At the same time, the working environment and the type of load must be considered. Rigging with adequate capacity and proper length to meet the use mode must be selected. If multiple riggings are used for lifting loads at the same time, the same type of rigging must be selected; The raw materials of the flat rigging shall not be affected by the environment or load. Whether accessories or soft lifting lugs are required, it must be carefully considered that the end of the rigging is matched with the auxiliary accessories and lifting equipment.

Whether accessories or soft lifting lugs are required, it must be carefully considered that the end of the rigging is matched with the auxiliary accessories and lifting equipment.
2. Limited use angle of rigging When flat slings with soft lifting lugs are used, the minimum length of the lifting lug used shall not be less than 3.5 times the maximum thickness of the hook at the part in contact with the lifting lug, and the included angle of the lifting lug movement shall not exceed 20 °. When connecting slings and lifting appliances with soft lifting lugs, the contact part of slings and lifting appliances must be constant, unless the axial width of slings does not exceed 75 mm, and the bending radius of lifting accessories must be at least 0.75 times of the axial width of slings. For example, the radius of the sling on the cargo hook shall be at least 0.75 times the axial width of the sling The width of the fabric may be affected by the radius of the inner part of the cargo hook, and the influence of the curvature of the cargo hook will hinder the balance of the strength in the width range of the fabric. Overload of slings is strictly prohibited, and correct mode coefficients must be used. The mode of a part of the ultimate working force may have been given on the label. Multiple combined slings cannot exceed the maximum angle of vertical direction.
3. The rigging shall follow good hoisting experience and plan the hoisting and portable operation scheme before hoisting.
4. When rigging is hoisted, the rigging connection mode shall be correctly used. Rigging shall be correctly placed and connected to the load in a safe manner. Rigging must be placed on the load so that the load can balance the width of the sling; Never tie or twist the sewing part of the sling. Never place it on the hook or lifting equipment, and always place it on the upright part of the sling. Avoid damage to the label by keeping away from the load, hook and locking angle.
5. Precautions for the use of multiple combination slings The evaluation of the ultimate working force of multiple combination slings depends on the symmetry of the load borne by the combination slings, that is, when lifting, the branches of the slings are symmetrically and evenly distributed according to the design, with the same vertical angle. 3. For combined slings, if the branches cannot bear the force uniformly according to the design, and the maximum strength is on one branch, it will be the sum of the maximum bearing force of the adjacent branches at the design angle. The same result will be included in 4 combined slings if it is not a rigid load. Note: For rigid loads, most of the gravity may be supported by 3 or even 2 of them, and the rest only protects the load balance
6. During rigging, the protective slings of the rigging shall be far away from sharp edges, friction and wear. Whether it is far away from the load or lifting appliances, the appropriate parts of the sling shall be strengthened and protected from the damage of sharp edges and wear. It is necessary to add additional protection if necessary.
7. Rigging shall ensure that the load is balanced during lifting. The slings must be used in a safe way, and the load shall not tilt or slip from the slings; The sling must be arranged above the center of gravity of the load and the lifting point, so that the load is balanced and stable. If the center of gravity of the load is not below the lifting point, the sling in motion may cross the lifting point. Causes danger.
8. If basket crane is used for rigging, the load safety can be ensured, because there is no locking behavior like lock crane, and the sling can turn over and pass through the lifting point. It is recommended that two slings be used together. The limb suspension of the sling should be as vertical as possible, which is conducive to ensuring that the load is equally shared among branches. When the flat sling is locked, it should be allowed to place at a natural angle (120 °), so as to avoid heat due to friction. The sling is not forced to be in a strong position, nor does it attempt to make a tight clamp. The correct and safe way is to use double locking of a sling. The double locking crane ensures safety and prevents the load from slipping from the sling.
9. Rigging to ensure personnel safety During hoisting, pay close attention to ensure personnel safety. Personnel in danger must be warned. If necessary, evacuate from the danger zone immediately. Hands or other parts of the body must be kept away from the rigging to prevent injury when the rigging is loose.
10. During the hoisting process, the rigging must be hoisted in an exemplary manner. The sling must be hoisted in an exemplary manner. The load is gradually lifted to a predetermined position from the time the sling is loosely picked up to the time the sling is tensioned. Especially, the friction force bears the load when the basket crane or the free tension is applied.
11. Rigging controls the rotation of the load If the load tends to tilt, the lifting object must be lowered to ensure that the load is restrained and prevent accidental rotation of the load.
12. Rigging shall avoid collision, dragging, pulling, friction and oscillation of rigging, and prevent damage of rigging. During hoisting, attention must be paid to ensuring that the load is restrained to prevent accidental overturning or collision with other objects. Avoid dragging, pulling or oscillating loads, which will increase the force on the rigging. If the rigging is under load or the load is pressed on the rigging, it is not allowed to drag the rigging on the ground or rough object surface.
13. Landing of rigging When lifting, the load will fall under equal restraint.
14. Correct storage riggingAfter the lifting operation is completed, the slings must be put back for proper storage; If it is no longer used, the sling must be stored under clean, dry, well ventilated conditions, room temperature, and placed on the shelf, away from heat sources, gases that can erode the surface, chemicals, direct sunlight or other strong ultraviolet radiation. Priority should be given to the use of stored items. Any damage to slings during use must be checked. Damaged slings should not be stored. When lifting, the sling is polluted by acid and alkali, diluted with water or neutralized with corresponding media recommended for storage in advance. According to the materials of lifting slings and the reference of relevant chemical properties, the products that have been used without problems may be necessary as recommended by the supplier. Slings will become wet in use or will be hung up for natural cooling and drying due to cleaning.
